Daily CISO

The five-minute briefing for security leaders.

About Daily CISO

Daily CISO is a short daily briefing for people who run security programs: the leadership moves, disclosed incidents, regulatory actions and advisories worth five minutes of a CISO’s morning. It launched on September 27, 2026.

When the archive was written

The site did not exist before September 27, 2026. The weekly archive, which reaches back to January 3, 2022, was compiled from that date onward from public records. Each archive page carries two dates: the week it covers, and the day it was compiled. Structured data reports the compile date as the publication date. We do not present an archive page as something that went out during the week it describes.

Where the facts come from

Every item names and links its source. We use, in order of preference:

Items are summaries in our own words. Numbers are copied exactly from the source. When a fact is not in a source we fetched, it is not on the page. Each item’s supporting passage is kept in our files and checked against the live source before a page is kept, and source links are re-checked weekly.

Who writes it

Pages are drafted with software agents that search, fetch and summarize public sources, and are checked by an automated fact-check gate and a verification step that confirms each supporting passage appears on its source. Anything that touches a person’s reputation goes to a human editor. The byline is the Daily CISO Desk; there are no invented personas.

Records we link to

For people and companies, Daily CISO links to the public record kept by CISO Tribunerather than keeping its own.

So far: 29 daily editions and 187 archive weeks. See corrections or send a tip.
